I am not sure if anyone has read this book called "Women Who Run with the Wolves" by Dr. Estes.

I have always wondered what it meant to be me. I wasn't like other girls who, in all honesty, care solely about appearances, money, and starting a family, while none of that has any true meaning to me.

This book made me realize that my inner archetpe is the wild woman complex. Wild women have something in common with wolves (hence the title). They are faithful and in possession of great strength and endurance, but have been hounded and harassed by those who think they are not in their place.

These women have the potential to be who they want to be and behave what they want to against the common stereotypes of society. They refuse to shy away and go into their corner, and when they love something they love it furiously and with much pride (sometimes even territorial over it).

The archetype demonstrates great strength in everything the wild woman does. She resides in all women, but few have tapped into her to realize they belong to her and she to them. The wild woman is needed for spiritual and mental health.

She has pride in her self and her body. She is not abashed of what she has or is. She will fight to protect herself/others, or try to lend a listening ear while attempting to soothe you.
